A Perpetual Interment Right provides the right of interment in a specified site with the interment to be left undisturbed forever (in perpetuity). Council offers reservation services for people to choose their place of rest. This can be arranged by purchasing a 'perpetual interment right certificate'. Purchasing a perpetual interment right certificate is highly recommended as the most effective way of securing a preferred burial place.
