Have your say on the planning proposal for minor amendments to the Bega Valley Local Environmental Plan 2013

Background

Council has resolved to place on public exhibition a planning proposal to implement several minor amendments to the Bega Valley Local Environmental Plan 2013. The objective of the amendment is to update references, correct omissions and make several minor administrative amendments regarding property references and zones, permissible uses and approval pathways, heritage schedule items and changes to clauses to protect amenity and character relating to new development.

Comments about the planning proposal are welcome during the exhibition period which runs from Monday 3rd February to Monday 3rd March 2025.

Details of the proposals can be viewed on the NSW Department Planning, Housing and Infrastructure planning portal at Planning Portal - Department of Planning and Environment (planning proposal number PP-2024-2653).

Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, details of your submission, including your name and address will be publicly available on request. You can request that your name and address not be disclosed by writing “objection in confidence” on your submission, however Council may still be obliged to release these details. Submissions that do not contain the author’s name and address may not be considered as Council will be unable to validate their authenticity.

Council is authorised as the local plan-making authority to exercise the functions for this planning proposal.
