Construction work will begin on the track from the Dolphin Cove car park to the beach access stairway and the track from Bournda Circuit pumping station to The Point beach stairway on Wednesday 15 July.

Council’s Recreation Projects Officer, Glenn Merrick said there will be closures of the access trails during the works to ensure public safety.

“However, access will be available to one of the stairways at all times and pedestrians will be directed to use the alternate access, as required,” he said.

“Residents and walkers are requested to observe signage and barricades and not to enter the designated work area.”

These works are funded by a NSW State Government Stronger Country Community Fund grant with a Bega Valley Shire Council co-contribution.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused during these works,” Mr Merrick said.
