Cuppa and a Chat sessions

Text: Cuppa and a chat sessions.Council is coordinating a series of informal, COVIDSafe drop in sessions starting in July in bushfire impacted communities across the Bega Valley.

The drop in sessions are an opportunity for a cuppa and a chat with a range of agencies involved in the recovery effort.

Our staff and partner agencies are there to listen and answer questions. It's a chance to hear ideas for helping your community recover or just to catch up with neighbours. There's also helpful printed material available to take away.

Come along as you are, no need to make a booking.

If you can’t make it to a session you can still contact the Bushfire Recovery Service on (02) 6499 2345 or email

The first round of Cuppa and Chat drop in session locations and dates are:

  • Kiah Pavilion (next to the RFS shed), Thursday 30 July, 11am to 3pm
  • Quaama Hall, Tuesday 4 August, 11am to 3pm
  • Towamba Hall, Thursday 6 August, 11am to 3pm
