Cuppa and a Chat sessions

Logo, Bega Valley Shire Council and Bega Valley Together.

Text: Cuppa and a chat sessions.Council is coordinating a series of informal, COVIDSafe drop in sessions starting in July in bushfire impacted communities across the Bega Valley.

The drop in sessions are an opportunity for a cuppa and a chat with a range of agencies involved in the recovery effort.

Our staff and partner agencies are there to listen and answer questions. It's a chance to hear ideas for helping your community recover or just to catch up with neighbours. There's also helpful printed material available to take away.

Come along as you are, no need to make a booking.

If you can’t make it to a session you can still contact the Bushfire Recovery Service on (02) 6499 2345 or email recovery@begavalley.nsw.gov.au.

The first round of Cuppa and Chat drop in session locations and dates are:

  • Quaama Hall, Tuesday 7 July 10am – 2pm
  • Towamba Hall, Thursday 9 July 10am – 2pm
  • Bemboka Hall Tuesday 14 July 10am – 2pm
  • Wonboyn RFS Shed, Thursday 16 July 10am – 2pm
  • Cobargo Hall, Tuesday 21 July 11am – 3pm
  • Wyndham Hall, Thursday 23 July 10am – 2pm
Feel free to print out, download and share these resources with your community. Not everyone is online and you can really help spread the word, inform and provide comfort. Thank you!
