Night road works scheduled for parts of Eden

Bega Valley Shire Council advises night road works are scheduled in Eden from Monday 14 July to Saturday 26 July, weather permitting.

Bega Valley Shire Council advises night road works are scheduled in Eden from Monday 14 July to Saturday 26 July, weather permitting.

As part of an ongoing infrastructure upgrade program, contractors will be carrying out stormwater and road upgrade works along Storey Avenue and part of the Princes Highway.

This will strengthen and extend the life of the existing road surface and improve driving conditions and safety for all road users.

Night works will be carried out approximately three to five nights per week, between 6pm and 6am. Some kerb works will occur during daylight hours as needed. 

Changed traffic conditions will be in place and traffic control will be on-site to help road users. Where possible, please advise the crew members on-site of where you need to go and assistance will be provided.

Road users should expect minor delays.

Asphalt resurfacing works will be carried out with Transport for NSW at a later date. We will update the community when we have more information.
