Development Proposal - Merimbula - DA 2023.303

An application has been received to develop land at Wildewoods Court, Merimbula for the purpose of Community Title Subdivision.


Council has received an application seeking approval to develop land as follows:

  • DA No.:  2023.303
  • Applicant: The Trustee for EAS Investment Trust
  • Consent Authority: Bega Valley Shire Council
  • Description of Land: Lot: 13 DP: 839498-10 Wildewoods Court MERIMBULA
  • Description of Proposal: Community Title Subdivision of 11 Lots and associated works
  • Responsible Council Officer: P Morey

The application and plans relating to the development are available on Council’s website Application Tracker at www.begavalley.nsw.gov.au, for a period of 28 days from 13 May 2024 to 11 June 2024 (excluding Public Holidays).

Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, copies of your submission can be made publicly available. You can request that your name and address not be disclosed by writing ‘OBJECTION IN CONFIDENCE’ on your submission, however we may still be obliged to release these details. Submissions that do not contain the author’s name and address may not be considered, as we will be unable to validate their authenticity.

If you make a submission you are required to disclose information about any political donations or gifts. INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT

Under the provisions of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 this development is classed as ‘Integrated’ which means that approval is also required from:

NSW Rural Fire Service

  • A S.100B Authority is required in accordance with the provisions of the Rural Fires Act 1997.

NSW Water

  • Approval is required under the Water Management Act 2000.
