Bega Valley Shire Council received grant funding for several years until the NSW Government closed this funding steam in 2011. Council has continued to support Young Women since, and in 2022-23 this grant is offered in partnership with the Mumbulla Community Foundation.
Young Women's Grants are offered to encourage women aged 18-25 to reach for their goals, whatever they may be. The grant aims to recognise and celebrate the valuable contribution that young women make in our community in the areas of:
