School swimming and water safety programs start next week
Throughout November and December, the annual School Swimming and Water Safety programs will be conducted at swimming pools across the Bega Valley Shire.

Throughout November and December, the annual School Swimming and Water Safety programs will be conducted at swimming pools across the Bega Valley Shire.
This year, to maintain a safe environment and to comply with current NSW Department of Education COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no public access for the duration of these programs.
Dates and times our local swimming pools will not be available for public use during this period are below. This is to allow for adequate cleaning and sanitising between user groups.
Council appreciates your consideration and patience during this time. It will help to ensure these important water safety programs can continue to be delivered to children in the Bega Valley.
Please check in with your local pool to confirm details closer to the program dates.
Bemboka
Closed between 2pm and 3pm every Tuesday and Wednesday during Term 4 (12 October to Friday 18 December).
Bega
Closed between 11am and 2:30pm from Monday 2 November to Friday 6 November.
Closed between 11am and 2:30pm from Monday 9 November to Friday 13 November.
Closed between 9:30am and 1pm from Monday 16 November to Friday 20 November.
Closed between 9:30am and 1pm from Monday 23 November to Friday 27 November.
Closed between 9.30am to 11.45am between Monday 30 November to Friday 4 December.
Closed between 9:30am and 11:45am between Monday 7 December to Friday 11 December.
Candelo
Closed between 10am and 3pm on Friday 20 November for swimming carnival.
Closed between 10am and 11am and 11.45am and 3.15pm from Monday 23 November to Friday 27 November.
Closed between 10am and 11am and 11.45am and 3.15pm from Monday 30 November to Friday 4 December.
Cobargo
Closed between 12pm and 3pm every Friday from 6 November to 11 December.
Closed between 12.30pm and 1.30pm from Monday 7 December and Friday 11 December.
Closed between 12.30pm and 1.30pm from Monday 14 December to Wednesday 16 December.
Eden
Closed between 1.45pm and 3.15pm every Wednesday during Term 4 (12 October to Friday 18 December).
Sapphire Aquatic Centre, Pambula Beach
25-metre and multi-splash pools closed between 11.15am and 1.15pm and again between 1.45pm and 3.00pm from Monday 16 November to Friday 20 November.
25-metre pool and multi-splash pools closed between 11.15am and 1.15pm and again between 1.45pm and 3.00pm from Monday 23 November to Friday 27 November.
The multi-purpose pool and two lanes of the 25-metre pool will be closed between 12.30pm and 1.30pm from Monday 30 November to Friday 4 December.
