Construction tenders for the Kiah and Wandella community halls that were both destroyed during the Black Summer bushfires have been awarded.
South Coast building company, Edwards Constructions has been engaged to build both halls, starting early 2023.
The company has successfully completed several Bega Valley Shire Council projects using a network of local contractors and suppliers.
Both halls are scheduled for completion by mid-2023.
Council thanks local community groups and stakeholders for their involvement in developing deigns and plans.
This project was made possible through the NSW Government’s Bushfire Local Economic Recovery fund.
