Development Proposal - Mailing and Curalo Streets Eden

An application has been received to develop land at Mailing Street and Curalo Streets, Eden for the purpose of the demolition of existing dwelling and the construction of multi dwelling housing.


Council has received an application seeking approval to develop land as follows:

  • Consent Authority: Bega Valley Shire Council
  • Description of Land: Lot: 22 DP: 1256866-Maling Street EDEN, Curalo Street EDEN
  • Description of Proposal: Demolition of existing dwelling, construction multi dwelling housing
  • Responsible Council Officer: R H Quick

The application and plans relating to the development are available on Council’s website Application Tracker at www.begavalley.nsw.gov.au, for a period of 28 days from 25 May 2023 to 23 June 2023 (excluding Public Holidays).

Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, copies of your submission can be made publicly available. You can request that your name and address not be disclosed by writing ‘OBJECTION IN CONFIDENCE’ on your submission, however we may still be obliged to release these details. Submissions that do not contain the author’s name and address may not be considered, as we will be unable to validate their authenticity.

INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT

Under the provisions of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 this development is classed as ‘Integrated’ which means that approval is also required from:  

Threatened Species Development

  • A Biodiversity Assessment Report (BDAR) has been submitted with this application as the development triggers the Biodiversity Offset Scheme under the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016.
