Be Kind to Business

Welcome back to our returning visitors, we missed you!

Text: be kind to businessTo everyone looking to support our Bega Valley business community – welcome and thank you!

It goes without saying that it’s been a tough year for them. Be Kind to Business reminds us of how we can support local businesses – whether you’re a local, friend or family member, a loyal returning visitor, or someone enjoying our amazing places and people for the first time.

Being kind to our local business community is easy:

Spend with them

It could be strolling the main street and allowing yourself to be tempted by food, fashion or gifts. Popping down to a village or town market and walking away with a basket of fresh, local produce. Buying a gift voucher to give someone else. Enjoying a local experience during your visit – from a pamper session to a stand-up paddle board lesson, or dining at one of our incredible eateries after catching a movie at the cinema. Booking a cruise or staying an extra day with your accommodation provider. Grabbing some fresh fish and chips and pull up a piece of grass to watch the world go by.

Every time you spend with a local business you actively help our businesses in their recovery and you keep local people in jobs.

Talk about them

Use the power of your voice to share your experience of a local business. Ask for their hashtag, or how to best leave a review. Like and share their social media. Give them a shout out on your channels. Go old school and put your phone down to tell your colleagues, friends and family that a Bega Valley business gave you a great experience or a delicious feed. Share a little kindness #BeKindBegaValley
