A great day for young locals to come together, enjoy workshops and activities, and watch the final of the Valley Vibes Music Competition.
The Valley Vibes Music Competition is open to all young people aged 12 to 24 (all band members and artists must be in this age range) who live in the Bega Valley Shire. We are encouraging young people to showcase their original music with 15-minute sets. This gives young people a chance to try out their original songs which they may not have had the opportunity to do before.
There will be two heats in competition:
Four bands and six solo artists from the two heats will go onto to play at the finals held at Tathra Surf Club on Saturday 16 September from 11;30am to 3:30pm. This event will be part of the Valley Vibes Youth Festival.
At the end of the music competition Flavuh will be playing from 4 to 4.45pm for everyone to enjoy. Flavuh is a fresh pop punk group from Batemans bay taking the south coast by storm. Performing at events such as NelliJam festival 2023, winners of Beats by the Beach and securing a spot at the Wanderer Festival later this year, Flavuh is young, energetic and ready to turn it up!
