Berrambool Sportsground Floodlight Upgrade

Project Summary/background

AFL NSW/ACT were successful in securing a grant from the NSW Government to upgrade floodlights for the AFL/Cricket field at Berrambool Oval.

Bega Valley Shire Council assisted AFL NSW/ACT with this submission and since the floodlights are a council asset, Council are assisting with the delivery of this project.

Currently, the lighting for the Berrambool Oval (AFL/Cricket ground) is inadequate and the upgrade includes the installation of 4 x 30 metre light towers as well as new LED lighting. This upgrade will enable the ground to be used more effectively throughout the football season for training and competition games.

Grant funding received from the NSW Government with contributions and support by Merimbula diggers AFL Club, AFL NSW/ACT and Bega Valley Shire Council.
