Rebuild of Wandella Community Hall

Project Background

The Wandella Community Hall is a much loved and utilised community asset for many people living in the rural areas within the Bega Valley and plays a key role in community life for Wandella and our surrounding remote localities.

Bega Valley Shire Council is seeking to assist the Wandella community as they recover from the devastating impacts of the 2019 New Year’s Fires by rebuilding the Community Hall which was destroyed.

As part of the Wandella Hall Rebuild Project’s Planning phase, a series of Community Consultation Sessions will be held in October inviting all stakeholders and community members to provide input in the development of the Hall’s Design to meet community needs now and into the future.

These community sessions will draw on the knowledge of and be facilitated by the principal architect Tim Lee - Australian Institute of Architects.
