Water flushing in Merimbula, Tura Beach and Pambula areas

Council will commence water main flushing in the Merimbula and Tura Beach areas next week, starting on Monday 26 October 2020.

Flushing to commence on Monday 26 October, after 9am, beginning from Merimbula Drive/Woodland Drive area, and in Tura beach in the Nolan Drive/Casuarina area.

The flushing program will run for approximately 4-6 weeks progressing into Pambula area - dates to be announced.

Notices will be given to businesses such as bakeries.

While flushing is taking place there is potential that some customers will experience lower water pressure and changes to water quality.

Pressure and water quality will return to normal after flushing. Flushing is a regular water infrastructure maintenance program provided by Council to ensure our underground assets are clean and our water quality remains high.
