Have your say on the planning proposal: Implementation of the Bega Valley Shire Commercial Land Strategy 2040

Council has resolved to amend the Bega Valley Local Environmental Plan 2013 to implement the recommendations of the Bega Valley Shire Commercial Land Strategy 2040 and support economic development and employment opportunities throughout the Bega Valley Shire.

The objectives of this planning proposal are to:

  • encourage more vibrant town centres
  • support economic development and employment opportunities throughout the Bega Valley Shire

The intentions of this planning proposal are to amend Bega Valley Local Environmental Plan 2013 to:

 

Comments about the planning proposal are welcome during the exhibition period which runs from Tuesday 16 March to Sunday 18 April 2021.

Submissions must include your full name and address, contact details, signature and political donations or gifts disclosure.

Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, details of your submission, including your name and address will be publicly available on request. You can request that your name and address not be disclosed by writing “objection in confidence” on your submission, however Council may still be obliged to release these details. Submissions that do not contain the author’s name and address may not be considered as Council will be unable to validate their authenticity.
