Bega Valley Shire Council advises geotechnical investigation works will be carried out on Mount Darragh Road from Monday 3 March to Friday 14 March, weather permitting.

Geotechnical investigation work aims to provide information on the site’s soil conditions below the surface. This work is vital to finalise detailed design for future shovel ready projects.

The works will be carried out along approximately two kilometres of road near Six Mile Creek Bridge (Pambula River).

Contractors will carry out the work on weekdays, between 7am to 5pm.

Traffic control will be in place and road users are advised to allow additional travel time and expect minor delays.

Interruptions will be minimised as much as possible during peak hours for school traffic.

Council thanks the community for their patience while these important works are undertaken.
