DA Enquiry

View the status of a development application using our online DA Enquiry service.

Applications On-line

Council is pleased to offer you online access to development applications which will allow you to track the progress of the application from lodgement through to determination. The ‘DA Enquiry’ service will allow you to monitor the progress of a development application and view documentation and plans relating to those applications.

This service is available for all development applications and complying development certificates submitted with Bega Valley Shire Council (BVSC) after 1 October 2015.


The legal agreements set out below govern your use of the ‘Application Tracker’ service. To agree to these terms, click “Agree”. If you do not agree to these terms, do not click “Agree”, and do not use the services.

Generally

You acknowledge that the information available through this service is made available by Bega Valley Shire Council (“BVSC”) under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (NSW) and the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (NSW) [GIPA], as applicable.

Usage Rules - Copyright and Licence

You shall be authorized to use the website and the service only for personal, non-commercial use.
The contents of this website (which includes downloadable material) are subject to copyright and are protected by laws in Australian and other countries through international treaties. Bega Valley Shire Council grants you a non-exclusive licence to produce the contents of this website in your web browser (and in a cache file produced by your web browser) for the sole purpose of viewing the content. Bega Valley Shire Council reserves all other rights. Indemnity

Nature of Information

You acknowledge that:

  1. BVSC and/or people authorised by it may gather and process the information:
    • which you may provide when submitting a development application;
    • which you may provide when accessing the Website, such as your name, address, e-mail address and other personal information about you; and
    • regarding the way in which you use the Website including, without limitation, information acquired through the use of "cookies" programmed during the accessing of the Website.
  2. BVSC may authorise others to offer you goods and services using the information acquired through para (a).
  3. Personal information is collected by Bega Valley Shire Council, under the Privacy & Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW).
  4. Prior to determination of an application, the information on this site is made available by BVSC under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
  5. All information relating to a development application and subject to copyright laws will be removed from the website post determination, and any request for information relating to a development application after a determination should be made with Bega Valley Shire Council under GIPA.

Termination of access

BVSC may terminate access to the Website and the service at any time without giving any explanation or justification for the termination of access, and BVSC has no liability for any costs, losses or damages of any kind arising as a consequence of terminating access to the Website or the service.

Alteration of Terms of Access

BVSC reserves the right to change these Terms of Access:

  1. with or without further notice to you; and
  2. without giving you any explanation or justification for such change.

Removal of information

In relation to any material and/or information included on the Website, BVSC may remove any material and/or information, including but not limited to links to other sites on the WWW, at any time without giving any explanation or justification for removing the material and/or information.

Laws

All matters relating to this website are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales and, if appropriate, Commonwealth legislation.
You agree to the jurisdiction of the courts of the State of New South Wales to determine any dispute arising out of these Terms and Conditions.
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be void, unlawful, or unenforceable then that part will be deemed to be severable from the balance of these Terms and Conditions and the severed part will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

Applications can also be tracked via the NSW Government Department of Planning, Industry and Environment Application Tracking Service by browsing the map or by selecting ‘Bega Valley Shire Council’ from the drop-down menu.
