Building Angels

Building Angels is a small not-for-profit established in 2013 and offering rebuilding support to fire-affected communities. The Building Back Better initiative offers exclusive discounts that far exceed trade prices to those rebuilding after fires and it is hoped to provide savings in excess of $300,000 on non-combustible building materials as well as other high-cost building supplies.

Brickworks

For any properties impacted by bushfire, who had built their home with Austral Bricks, Brickworks Building Products will replace all the bricks, free of charge, including delivery.

For homes constructed from other building materials, Brickworks will assist the re-build with 50% off all materials in the Brickworks Building Products portfolio. This includes bricks, pavers, roof tiles, masonry blocks and retaining walls.

Planning Assistance

Architects Assist provides disaster recovery pro bono assistance. It is an initiative of 600 firms from the built environment industry to help and support those affected by bushfires and other natural disasters, aiming to help communities ‘build back better’.
