Bega Valley Shire Council advises road works are scheduled to commence on Tathra Road, Tathra on Monday 17 March, weather permitting.
As part of Council’s renewal program, contractors will be carrying out road stabilisation works between the Thompson Drive intersection and approximately 100 metres west of Killarney Road.
The works involve rehabilitation of the road surface, resealing and line marking. This will strengthen and extend the life of the existing road surface and improve driving conditions and safety for all road users.
The works will be carried out between 7am and 5pm each day and are expected to take four weeks to complete.
Changed traffic conditions with traffic control will be in place for the duration of the works, including a reduced speed limit of 40km per hour.
Road users should expect minor delays.
We thank you for your patience while these important works are undertaken.
