Peter Haggar was elected to Council in 2024, marking the beginning of his first Council term.

Born in Bombala, Peter has had a long career in hospitality, ranging from pubs to cafes.

Since 2006, he has been a small business and café owner of Evolve Cafe in Bega.

His community interests include affordable housing, First Nations peoples, evidence-based decision making and climate change.

Peter resides in Brogo with his partner Anna and son Harry.
