5 March 2025

Bega Valley Shire Council advises road works will commence on Sapphire Coast Drive on Monday 10 March and are expected to take two weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Contractors will be carrying out road stabilisation works between Old Tathra Road and Berrambool Drive, from 7am to 6pm each day.

As part of Council’s renewal program, these works will strengthen and extend the life of the existing road surface and improve driving conditions and safety for all road users.

Changed traffic conditions will be in place for the duration of the works. Road users should expect delays.

Access to sections of the roads will be restricted at different points in time.

There will be no on-street parking during working hours.

Traffic control will be on-site to help motorists to access their homes or businesses. Where possible, please advise the crew members on site of where you need to go and assistance will be provided.

Council thanks the community for their patience while these important works are undertaken.
