Clair Mudaliar

Clair Mudaliar was elected to Council in 2024, marking the beginning of her first Council term.
With a background in hospitality, banking and small business ownership, she managed the Eden Visitor Information Centre for four years, relocating it to Eden Wharf and enhancing its revenue. She led the team to win multiple tourism awards at a state-wide level including Silver for Eden in the Top Tourism Town Awards.
Clair is a 2023 graduate of the Bega Valley Regenerate Leadership Program, and an alumni of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation and Women for Election.
She has volunteered for various community organisations, fundraised for charities and created community events such as Food Truck Friday. In 2020, Clair was named joint awardee of the Bega Valley Shire’s Australia Day Local Award.
Her community interests include youth engagement, government advocacy, sustainable development, affordable housing and support for the not-for-profit sector.
Clair lives in Eden with her partner Stacey and their five children.
