Council meeting and Public Forum to be livestreamed tomorrow

MEDIA RELEASE 2021 - This week's Bega Valley Shire Council meeting and Public Forum tomorrow, Wednesday 18 August will be conducted via videoconference and livestreamed, to ensure Council meets the Public Health Order requirements of the current COVID-19 restrictions.

This week’s Bega Valley Shire Council meeting and Public Forum tomorrow, Wednesday 18 August will be conducted via videoconference and livestreamed, to ensure Council meets the Public Health Order requirements of the current COVID-19 restrictions.

Acting CEO, Anthony McMahon said the meeting and public forum will be conducted by videoconferencing from the individual homes of Councillors and staff.

“Members of the community will be able to access the livestream from Council’s Council Meetings webpage, and members of the community who are presenting at the public forum have been provided with the videoconferencing details,” Mr McMahon said.

“All going to plan, we will be live on Wednesday from 12 noon for the Public Forum and 2pm for the Council Meeting.”
