Plot reservations

Bega Valley Shire Council offers reservation services so you can purchase a Perpetual Interment Right (formerly known as a Burial Licence) for your chosen place of rest.

For information regarding reservations and burial options please contact Council’s Cemetery and Hall Officer by phoning 6499 2222 or email cemeteries@begavalley.nsw.gov.au.

Plots can be pre-reserved by contactingCouncil staff. A fees is apyable at this time and bives the holder entitlement upon deafor their reamins to be buried in the allocated plot.

Plots cannot be sold on to third parties but can be purchased bk from the holder/s by Council for the original purchase price or transferred to a family member of the holder upon consultation with council.

Current Interment Right fees can be located on the Bega Valley Shire Council Cemetery charges page

Once a death has occurred, fees in relation to the interment will also be required.
