Asbestos disposal notification
Please use this form to notify Council 48 hours prior to delivery of large quantities (more than 0.25m3) of asbestos.
For any enquiries please call Central Waste Facility on 0417 294 394. Please note if you do not have an account with Central Waste Facility, payment by credit card or EFTPOS is required at the Waste and Recycling Centre when the asbestos is presented.
For small loads of asbestos (more than 0.25m3), asbestos disposal bags can be purchased from Council's Waste Transfer Stations and Zingel Place. The asbestos can be placed into these bags and taken to Merimbula, Eden and Bermagui Waste and Recycling Centre for disposal. Please see Council's fees for the cost of the asbestos bag, which includes the disposal fee.
