Bega Valley Shire Council invites young people aged between 12 and 24 years to celebrate NSW Youth Week at the Rhythm & Ramp event to be held from 3.30pm to 6.30pm at the Barclay Street Oval, Eden on Wednesday 9 April.
“NSW Youth Week runs from 9 to 17 April this year and we are fortunate to have secured a NSW Government grant to hold this free music and skate event,” Council’s Community and Cultural Services Manager, Yvette Parker said.
“We’ve got a fantastic skate competition lined up and there will be great music and food, fantastic prizes and giveaways and a chill out space.
“NSW Youth Week is a special time to shine a light on the achievements and talents of our young people, and this event provides an ideal platform for them to showcase their skills and creativity.
“Council genuinely appreciates the contributions young people make to our shire and wants to recognise the positive impact young people have on our community.
“Young people from across the shire are invited to Rhythm & Ramp so we can make NSW Youth Week in the Bega Valley a memorable and inspiring occasion.”
