Bermagui residents and visitors can now have a new place to work or study remotely thanks to the opening of a new co-working space at the Bermagui Library and Community Centre.

Library Services Coordinator, Yvette Parker said Council was thrilled to now be able to offer shared desk arrangements, single use offices, a communal area and kitchenette, stable and high speed wi-fi and printing and scanning services.

“Bermagui Library is very busy during the summer period and these new co-working offices provide a comfortable, quiet space to work remotely in Bermagui.

“Many residents and visitors to the area are often faced with internet coverage issues, so the new co-working space can cater for people living here and holidaymakers.

“At just $20 per half day, the co-working desks can be booked for a few hours or the whole day, allowing people with their own devices to work and connect with online colleagues.

“We are also looking at offering a smart screen for online meetings in the near future.”

For more information, contact the Bermagui Library on (02) 6499 2411 or to book a co-working desk or space, visit the library website https://library.begavalley.nsw.gov.au/ and click on the Room Bookings tab.
