Bega Valley Shire Council is seeking feedback on a proposed alcohol-free zone and alcohol-prohibited area for parts of Gipps and Bega streets in Bega.

Bega Valley Shire Council is seeking feedback on a proposed alcohol-free zone and alcohol-prohibited area for parts of Gipps and Bega streets in Bega.

The proposed location of the alcohol-free zone covers an area of road on Bega Street and a car park on Gipps Street.

The proposed location of the alcohol-prohibited area is a parcel of Council land on the corner of Bega and Gipps streets known as Willow Tree Reserve.

The proposed changes aim to address anti-social behaviour and support public safety in the area.
