Wednesday 27 April 2016

The next stage of the Merimbula CBD Bypass works will start on Monday 2 May 2016 with the reconstruction of the central portion of the Palmer Street Carpark.

The carpark works will take approximately eight weeks, after which the next portion of bypass alignment that links Palmer Lane and Park Street will be constructed.

The Merimbula CBD Bypass Project will reduce traffic congestion within the Merimbula CBD and improve through-traffic movement.

Changed traffic conditions will be in place and several trees will be removed as part of the works.
