Bega Valley Shire Council invites the community to participate in a book selection day at Bega Library on Saturday 5 April from 10am to 12pm.
Collections Librarian, Sarah Morrison said the Community Book Selection Day offers both adults and children the wonderful opportunity to browse and select books to be added to the library collection.
“Library supplier, Sound Text Media will bring a substantial selection of books on a broad range of topics, including adult non-fiction, young adult and children’s titles across both fiction and non-fiction, picture books and graphic novels for all ages,” Ms Morrison said.
“These will be displayed on tables in the Bega Library and participants will be able to spend time browsing and choose books they’d like to borrow from the local library.
“Bega Valley Shire Library’s collection is a shared resource for everyone in the shire and we want the range of books available to reflect the diverse interests of our community.
“Everyone in the Bega Valley is invited to this fun, free event.”
