A high tide and large swell has resulted in the temporary closure of Merimbula wharf.

A high tide and large swell has resulted in the temporary closure of Merimbula wharf.

An initial assessment of the wharf has revealed minor, non structural damage.

Further inspections of the sub structure will be conducted by qualified divers and when conditions are safe.

Residents are instructed not to enter the wharf area.
