With large North-East swells forecast for the weekend Bega Valley Shire Council will be removing the lower sections of the Pambula Beach assisted access path tomorrow (Friday 3 June).

A key element of the design being trialled is that the lower sections can be disassembled and moved to higher ground out of the way heavy seas and very high tides.

This will be the first time the new path has been moved response to forecast heavy seas and we are very keen to see how it works in practice.

The assisted access path will be expected to be reinstalled after the bad weather and very high tides forecasts have passed.
