Bega Valley Shire Council expects to have a finalised Development Application submitted by the end of September for the former Hotel Australasia site in Eden.

Planning consultant Allen Grimwood of Zenith Planning met with relevant stakeholders including representatives of the incorporated community group, ‘Eden’s Australasia’ on Wednesday last week.

The Development Application will address the intended clean-up of the building and grounds of the historic Eden landmark.

It will also detail external works including the restoration of the façade, the demolition of recent extensions to the original structure and internal renovations and structural improvements.
