This week the Bega Valley Shire Library is celebrating the launch of an exciting new online resource, Comics Plus.
Acting Systems and Collections Librarian, Cat McLean said with Comics Plus, customers have unlimited access to thousands of digital comics, manga and picture books from their computers, tablets or phones.
“There are no holds, wait lists or monthly borrowing limits and new titles are added every week,” Ms McLean said.
“Choose between the full collection, which includes a diverse selection of titles from a variety of popular publishers, as well as the Comics Plus Children’s Library, where young readers have access to thousands of age-appropriate digital comics, manga, learn to read books and picture books.
“Graphic novels, comics and manga are quickly growing in popularity for readers of all ages, so it’s exciting to be able to offer such a fantastic resource to our library customers.
“Access to Comics Plus is free if you have library membership.
“If you’re not currently a library member, not to worry as our library staff will help you sign up so you can enjoy the huge variety of library resources available.”
