Bega Valley Shire Library and Bega Village have teamed up again for another colouring-in competition over the upcoming school holidays.

Library Services Coordinator, Yvette Parker, said the winter school holidays colouring-in competition was such a success, both parties agreed to run another in the spring break.

“Between Saturday 28 September and Friday 11 October, parents can stop by the Bega Village Book Nook, next to Big W, with their children and relax with some colouring-in time,” Ms Parker said.

“Alternatively, they can take the colouring-in sheets home and pop back to the Book Nook later to put their kids’ artworks into the entry box or drop them into their local library.

“The competition has three age categories – preschool, Kindergarten to Year 3, and Year 4 to Year 7 – with one winner per category taking home a $50 Big W gift voucher.

“The winners will be selected by library staff during the week of 14 October and parents will be notified to arrange for prize collection.

“It was great to see all the entries last time, especially those that used colour highlights, extra elements and interesting patterns and textures.”
