Sapphire Aquatic Centre - Energy Efficient Heat Pump Upgrades
Upgrade of the existing swimming pool heat pumps at Sapphire Aquatic Centre with modern, higher efficiency heat pump units.
Project Summary
This project will upgrade the existing 13-year-old swimming pool heat pumps at Sapphire Aquatic Centre with modern higher efficiency heat pump units.
This will achieve reduced electrical consumption, reduced operating costs and reduced co2 emissions.
This project will also improve pool water temperature stability, reduce program cancellations and barriers for various programs and user groups who rely on this facility and temperature consistency.
Funding
This project is funded by a $220,000 grant through the NSW Government Stronger Country Communities Fund.
