Bega Valley Shire Council maintains a number of marine facilities for fishing, boating and other water activities in idyllic locations along with a range of amenities to help residents and visitors to enjoy water and recreational activities. Make the most of our beautiful region and get out and enjoy the water!
There are 12 Council managed boat ramps, 2 wharves and 2 jetties in the Bega Valley Shire, providing boating access to the sea and the Shire's extensive estuaries, rivers and lakes. A public boat ramp is also located in the Bournda National Park on Wallagoot Lake. This is a National Parks asset, leased to the Wallagoot Lake Boat Club.
Bega Valley Shire Council maintains a range of amenities at many of these parks to help residents and visitors to enjoy water and recreation activities.
