FLING Physical Theatre is an award winning youth dance organisation based on Djiringanj land in the Bega Valley, NSW. We have been creating exceptional work with young people since 2001. Our mission is to inspire through the creation of contemporary performance. Our works celebrate the experiences of youth, providing a space for young people to explore their identity, creativity, and movement, while being supported by our exceptional staff. FLING spaces are inclusive, accessible, and inspire youth to be brave, curious, and take risks.
Our core program is the FLING Company with performers aged 14-21, who are involved in the creation and presentation of major projects which have toured within our region and beyond. FLING also provides two younger company programs YFLING and FLUX Creators for ages 7-14, and delivers a broad reaching Community Engagement program. FLING is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and holds DGR status.
