Bega Valley Shire Council advises of upcoming roadworks on Arthur Kaine Drive in Pambula, commencing on Monday 22 April, weather permitting.
The works between the Munje Street intersection and Merimbula Airport will run for approximately three days.
Council contractors will lay a final seal to the road surface following the settling of the first seal applied in October last year.
Works have been scheduled intentionally during the NSW school holiday period to avoid disruption to school buses.
Contractors will be onsite between 7am and 5pm each day.
Intermittent lane closures and traffic control will be in place and road users should expect minor delays, with longer delays expected in peak periods.
This project is funded by the Australian Government’s Heavy Vehicle Safety and Productivity Program.
Council thanks the community for their patience while these important works are being completed.
For more information, please contact Council’s Civil Contracts Supervisor on (02) 6999 2222.
