Social enterprise, Grow the Future will open their farm gates to the community for a morning of discovering what circularity looks like in practice.

Special guest, Costa Georgiadis will lead people on a circularity journey, with demonstrations from the Grow the Future team who are leaders in growing food and regenerating the landscape.

Local breakfast food and coffee served from the Bega Local Aboriginal Land Council's Coffee Cart will be available.

The morning will feature demonstrations on market gardening, composting and worm farming, up-cycled clothing, seed saving, native propagation, bush regeneration and backyard circularity.

This is a FREE event for all ages. Closed in shoes must be worn on the farm.

Join University of Wollongong’s Professor Karen Charlton at a workshop on reducing, recycling and repurposing waste in business. If you are a grower, agri-business, farmer, retailer, restaurant or café owner, you will explore practices related to waste and becoming more circular and sustainable.

Following the workshop, former foreign correspondent for the ABC and Walkley Award winner, Linda Mottram will host an expert panel discussion with special guest, environmental educator and television presenter, Costa Georgiadis. Open to all the community, the discussion will centre on circularity and what it means for food producers, waste and the community.
