Development Proposal - Bermagui - DA 2023.301

An application has been received to develop land at Nutleys Creek Road, Bermagui for the purpose of 5 lot subdivision and Seniors Housing development (162 dwellings).


Council has received additional information from the applicant in support of their application seeking approval to develop land as follows:

The application and plans relating to the development are available on Council’s website Application Tracker at www.begavalley.nsw.gov.au, for a period of 28 days from 26 November 2024 to 14 January 2025 (excluding Public Holidays).

You can request that your name and address not be disclosed by writing ‘OBJECTION IN CONFIDENCE’ on your submission, however we may still be obliged to release these details. INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT
Under the provisions of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 this development is classed as ‘Integrated’ which means that approval is also required from:

Heritage NSW

  • Approval is required in accordance with the Section 90 of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974

NSW Rural Fire Service

  • Approval is required in accordance with the Section 100B of the Rural Fires Act 1997.

Threatened Species Development

  • A Biodiversity Assessment Report (BDAR) has been submitted with this application as the development triggers the Biodiversity offset Scheme under the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016.
