Bega Valley Shire Council advises flood recovery works will commence on Tantawangalo Creek Bridge, on West Kameruka Road, from Monday 1 July to Monday 5 August, weather permitting.
Bega Valley Shire Council advises flood recovery works will commence on Tantawangalo Creek Bridge, on West Kameruka Road, from Monday 1 July to Monday 5 August, weather permitting.
Contractors will be repairing bridge abutments and road infrastructure damaged in recent declared natural disaster flood events.
Works will be carried out from 6am to 6pm each weekday. Weekend work may be required intermittently between 7am and 1pm.
During this time, a road closure will be in place at Tantawangalo Creek Bridge on West Kameruka Road.
For resident access, vehicles are advised to detour via Niagara Lane.
There will be a temporary 33 tonne bridge limit on Sandy Creek Bridge during the period of works at Tantawangalo Creek Bridge.
For heavy vehicle access, motorists are advised to detour via Mogilla Road.
Signs will be in place. Road users should allow extra travel time.
