Development Proposal - Merimbula - DA 2023.159

An application has been received to develop land at Merimbula Drive, Merimbula for the purpose of a multi-level mixed use development - town houses, hotel, restaurant and swimming pool.


Council has received an application seeking approval to develop land as follows:

  • Description of Land: Lot: 1 DP: 733858-58 Merimbula Drive MERIMBULA
  • Description of Proposal: Multi level mixed use development - town houses, hotel, restaurant & swimming pool

The application and plans relating to the development are available on Council’s website Application Tracker at www.begavalley.nsw.gov.au, for a period of 21 days from 20 November 2024 to 11 December 2024 (excluding Public Holidays).

Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, copies of your submission can be made publicly available. You can request that your name and address not be disclosed by writing ‘OBJECTION IN CONFIDENCE’ on your submission, however we may still be obliged to release these details. Submissions that do not contain the author’s name and address may not be considered, as we will be unable to validate their authenticity.

If you make a submission you are required to disclose information about any political donations or gifts. INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT
Under the provisions of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 this development is classed as ‘Integrated’ which means that approval is also required from the NSW Rural Fire Service under the Rural Fires Act.
