The Bega Valley Business Support Group (BSG), of which Council is a member, is conducting a Roadshow to guide small business owners to the right business support at the right time.

“There are a number of local, state, federal and private organisations offering various types of support to Bega Valley businesses at the moment,” Acting Economic Development Manager, Alison Vandenberg said.

“The Business Support Group was established to provide a coordinated and streamlined service to small business owners.

“The BSG comprises local, on-the-ground advisors representing these various organisations, to drive a Local Led Recovery in the Bega Valley.

“If you need help with any of the following topics, we encourage you to attend one of the two sessions on offer, in a location near you.”

Get help with:

  • business planning
  • financial planning
  • grants and funding
  • compliance support
  • strategy support
  • new business support
  • mentoring
  • health and wellbeing
  • resources.

The two sessions at each event - 3.30pm and 5.30pm – will start with introductions by BSG members, followed by a Q&A session and one-on-one COVIDSafe conversations.

BSG members include Bega Valley Shire Council, National Bushfire Recovery Agency, Service NSW, Business Entrepreneur Program, Rural Financial Counselling Service, Business Connect Program and Bega Valley Virtual Drop-In Centre.
