The NSW government has commenced major repair works on Wallaga Lake bridge.
26 February 2024
The NSW government has commenced major repair works on Wallaga Lake bridge.
This essential work will maintain the bridge for the local community and all its users.
The maintenance work is scheduled for completion over a six-month period (ending in September), weather permitting.
Pedestrian access across the Wallaga Lake Bridge will be temporarily unavailable on Friday 24 May and Saturday 25 May between 8am and 11.30am.
This closure is necessary for workers to remove the pedestrian scaffold and restore the bridge deck in preparation for reopening to traffic on Monday 27 May. Pedestrian access will be reinstated as soon as possible to ensure connectivity is maintained.
