2023/2024 Outdoor Pool Season
Bega Valley Shire Council’s outdoor pools closed for the season at 6pm on Thursday 28 March 2024. Thank you to all members and visitors who contributed to another great summer season.
Sapphire Aquatic Centre, our indoor heated facility in Pambula Beach, continues to operate all year round.
Bega War Memorial Pool contractors, Zoe and Mark Phillipzen, have advised this is last season managing the Bega Pool. We extend our sincere thanks for their dedication and invaluable contribution to our community’s wellbeing, wishing them all the best for the future.
Planning is currently underway for next season, and an update will be provided to user groups and the community once details have been finalised.
We look forward to seeing everyone back making a splash next summer for the 2024/ 2025 season.
COVIDSafe Update
In order to remain COVIDSafe for our staff and customers, when attending our facilities, please:
- Follow NSW Government restrictions and health advice (COVID-19 rules | NSW Government)
- Maintain good hygiene practices and follow physical distancing (1.5m) where possible.
- Respect and follow reasonable staff instructions
- Do not visit our facilities if unwell, have flu like symptoms, a positive case or required to be following self-isolation rules.
We appreciate your patience and consideration as we continue to provide our facilities for the community in a COVIDSafe way.
Outdoor Pools Entry Fees
As per the adopted 2023/2024 BVSC Fees and Charges, please see updated swimming pool casual entry and season ticket prices (excludes SAC)
*Family = 2 adults and 3 children or as listed on Medicare Card
Booklets expire at end of April each year. They can be purchased from the Bega Valley Shire Council in Bega, Sapphire Aquatic Centre and council managed swimming pools.
