Bega to Yellow Pinch pipeline project

The project is currently in the Pre-tender phase with construction  commencement expected in the first half of 2010. Planning approval for the project was gained on 20 October 2009.

Water restrictions in the northern half of the shire have been lifted and replaced with permanent water wise measures.

Level 2 water restrictions remain in place for the southern half of the shire.
