Contribution Plans detail council's policy of obtaining development contributions as a means of funding local infrastructure and services that are required as a result of new development.

Current Plans
Bega Valley Section 94 and 94A Contributions Plan 2014 (the plan) applies to development approvals issued on or after 17 February 2015 (note: reference to Section 94 and 94A of the Act is now Section 7.11 and 7.12 of the revised Act). The plan repeals all previous contributions plans applying in the Bega Valley Shire. For further information please contact Council's Strategic Planning section on (02) 6499 2222.

Section 64 water and sewer contributions
Contributions for water and sewer infrastructure are levied under Section 64 of the Local Government Act 1993. These contributions are detailed in Council’s Development Servicing Plan (prepared in accordance with the Department of Water and Energy Best-Practice Management of Water Supply and Sewerage Guidelines 2007).
