Ricky's Place is a community cafe serving nutritious and tasty meals on a Monday from 12:30 to 2 pm.Take away available from 1:30pm to 2pm. It is open to everyone. Located at the Auckland Street, Bega entrance of St John's Anglican Church No sit down meals on public holidays, but take-aways available from 12:30pm to 2pm
Ricky's Place is now operated by Sapphire Community Projects Inc, the charity which runs the Sapphire Community Pantry. We are not associated with the church, but we are grateful for the support and cooperation of the Anglican Diocese of Bega and their congregation. Ricky's Place is volunteer-run, and new volunteers always welcome.
Come in for a meal which includes meat and vegetarian options, tea, coffee, bread and butter, and dessert. It's free, but if you can make a donation that would be very appreciated as it will help us pay for the food. Everyone is welcome - waged, unwaged, young, old, retired, working - we will serve you with dignity and provide a safe and enjoyable place to dine.
Showers are also available during these times. Outside of meal times, if you need a shower, contact the St John Anglican Church on 6462 5555.
